Middlebrook Symposium Research Prize Awarded on Frederick Frelinghuysen Research

Connor Dunham, undergraduate student at Clark University, is to be congratulated on receiving the $5,000 Middlebrook Symposium Prize for original research on the Revolutionary War in New Jersey. His essay, “The Revolutionary War in New Jersey Through the Eyes of Frederick Frelinghuysen,” focuses on militiaman and legislator Frederick Frelinghuysen, born at the Old Dutch Parsonage, to better understand the lives of New Jerseyans before and during the American Revolutionary War. His winning paper will appear in the published proceedings of the Symposium. Mr. Dunham was a seasonal historian at the Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites in 2024 and 2025.
